The first race day is here!

Very excited.  Pumped.

My iPod is loaded with new music and charged, my knee has had its last treatment, I’ve had my soy banana smoothie.  I am as ready as I can be.

I can’t thank everyone enough for sending so much support – I will report back after the run.

And don’t worry, Maddie, I’ve come up with a little mantra for in case my knee goes, to make sure I still get across that line:

Pain is temporary, Maddie is forever.
